About TrackSpot

TrackSpot™ was founded in 2025 by George Cooke, with John Wright (formally RavenComms) as co-founder, after years of working together on broadcasts internationally.

We broadcast sim racing leagues and esports events, and we build the tools we use to do it. Those two halves of the company combine to form the whole.

George Cooke

Software Lead

George builds the software behind the broadcasts — the telemetry, overlay and control tooling that becomes the TrackSpot™ product range, and the platform the production team runs on.

John Wright

Broadcast Lead

John leads production. He directs and commentates on race broadcasts, and sets how a TrackSpot™ show is put together, from run order and camera work to the crew on the desk.

Why We Build Our Own Tools

Everything in our product range exists because a broadcast needed it first. Remote came from operating a show from the wrong side of the world; the telemetry and overlay work came from wanting data on screen that the sim would not give us on its own.

That is also why our production work and our software share a team. What we learn on a race weekend goes back into the tooling, and the tooling is proven on our own broadcasts before anyone else is asked to rely on it.

Why We Broadcast Sim Racing

We broadcast sim racing because, first and foremost, we love racing. The competition matters, but so do the people, teams, rivalries, setbacks and decisive moments that turn a grid of cars into a story worth following.

Sim racing sits where professional motorsport and esports meet. We are motivated to bring those worlds closer together: applying the production standards and storytelling of real-world racing while embracing the accessibility, technology and global reach that make esports distinctive.
