Although the drivers will still be in action next week for the non-points-paying Mid-Season Classic at the Nürburgring, the midseason break offers the perfect chance to reflect on what has been a season of new heights for the Formula Series. Fifteen and twenty car grids have become the norm, and live stewarding and commentary have begun to enhance the series, but the biggest change is the not-so-new name at the top of the standings.

iRacing is now part of the Global Esports Games and will feature in early December! Over 50 countries have been invited to send their best iRacing driver to the global qualifier event (done online) where the top 19 will get an all expenses paid trip to Los Angeles to participate in the big event.

The Tasman Racing League announced the chassis for Season 4 this week, with the GT3/TCR, NASCAR Truck Series, and Dallara IL-15 being chosen.

The Tasman Racing League's Road Series Season 3 concluded at Bathurst with Max Forgione getting a landmark first win, as David Webb and Terry Visser wrapped up the GT3 and TCR championships.

Season 3 of the Tasman Racing League Oval Series concluded Wednesday night, with both the drivers and teams championships coming down to the final round at Michigan. TRL rookie David Webb became a double champion, while Hybrid Simsports held off Right Rear Racing for the teams championship.

Toyota GAZOO Racing New Zealand's support of the GT7 New Zealand Championship is another major milestone for sim racing in New Zealand.
