TrackSpot v2 Released!

TrackSpot 2.0 is here — and the website grows up too

We've been heads-down for a long time, and today marks a milestone we've been working toward since day one: TrackSpot 2.0 is officially out the door, and the public site has been rebuilt from the ground up alongside it.

What 2.0 means

2.0 isn't a single feature — it's the moment everything finally clicks together. The tooling that runs broadcasts, manages customers, handles contracts and invoices, pays our crews, and keeps the lights on in the background is now all working off the same backbone.

In practice, that means:

  • A real finance engine. Quotes, contracts, invoices, and payments flow end-to-end — including share-friendly invoice links and PDF exports for our customers.

  • Better for our crews. Contractors now get a much clearer view of the work they're being paid for.

  • System status you can see. When something's down or planned maintenance is happening, you'll know — straight from the site.

It's the kind of release that doesn't always show up as flashy new buttons, but it's the foundation everything else gets built on from here.

And the website

The site you're reading this on is brand new. The old version did one thing — show you what was streaming. The new one does a lot more:

  • A new look. Refreshed theme, refined branding, and a brand-new logo we're really proud of.

  • News. A proper home for announcements, stories, and updates from the TrackSpotTV world.

  • Live calendar. See what's on right now, what's coming up, and what just aired — all in one place, updated automatically.

  • Live and offline status that takes care of itself, the moment a broadcast goes on or off air.

This is the second major version of the site, and it sets us up nicely for what's next.

What's coming

The roadmap from here is the fun stuff:

  • Accounts and sign-up — one TrackSpot account, recognised everywhere.

We'll have more to share on each of these soon.

For now — thanks for being along for the ride. 2.0 is a big one for us, and we're glad you're here for it.

TrackSpotTV Official Broadcasters for GT7 New Zealand Championship

Toyota GAZOO Racing New Zealand's support of the GT7 New Zealand Championship is another major milestone for sim racing in New Zealand. Having worked extensively with GT7 leagues and delivered coverage of the previous NZ Esports Racing Series, TrackSpotTV has seen firsthand the talent, professionalism, and opportunities that virtual motorsport can create. We look forward to seeing the championship continue to grow and showcase the next generation of Kiwi racing talent.
